helpful tips for Transportation & storage following pickup

Use a vehicle with an air conditioner.
Drive carefully. Avoid bumps, jiggling, hills and sharp turns.
Bring a friend to help you hold your cake order. If you do not have someone to help, be sure it is on a flat surface to avoid it tilting or sliding.
Clear your vehicle of any loose items that may fall or roll onto your cake/items.
Cakes & Cupcakes picked up prior to your event will require immediate refrigeration unless specifically directed otherwise by Her Elegant Design Bakery & Boutique. A cake in long periods at room temperature, especially outside in the Arizona heat will most likely weaken the structure of the cake and risks damaging the quality and overall stability.
The maximum shelf life we can give is 3 to 4 days from the date of collection for a cake without preservatives. If the cake has custard, cream, cream cheese or fresh fruit it will last 2-3 days.
